On January 10, Rainbow New Energy announced that the production line and new product release conference of the first phase of Xianyang Ultra-thin and High Transparent Photovoltaic Glass Project was successfully held in Xianyang.
It is reported that the project is divided into two phases to build five ultra-thin, dual-mode high-transparent, large-size photovoltaic glass deep processing production lines, with an annual design capacity of about 36 million square meters. At present, the first phase has invested in the construction of three photovoltaic glass deep processing production lines, which have fully reached the design capacity and provided stable supply to users. The second phase plans to invest in the construction of two photovoltaic glass deep processing production lines, and the project is in progress.
The company said that the project, as the company's digital and intelligent benchmarking project, has undertaken the Shanxi Province's "unveiling project"-to carry out research and development of 2.0mm and below ultra-thin fully tempered glass technology, and has successfully developed and tried to make 1.6mm ultra-thin high transparent glass.
