, Feng Chaohui, 20, went into business.
Because he often deals with factories, Feng Chaohui found that the mountains of waste glass have become a headache for many companies. Because of the low recycling value and high freight costs, they have to pay someone to transport the waste glass.
"Truckloads of waste glass are pulled away for landfill, which not only wastes resources, but also causes environmental pollution.". If only it could be recycled! Feng Chaohui found that if the waste glass can be recycled, it will not only make a lot of money, but also contribute to ecological protection.

in China, and at least tens of millions of tons are consumed every year. The main raw materials of glass are quartz sand, dolomite, limestone and other minerals, which consume 3 tons of raw materials to produce 1 ton of glass.
In addition, glass can not be decomposed and degraded naturally, and it is difficult to be incinerated. It is one of the most difficult domestic and industrial wastes to be treated, and many places choose landfill treatment. However, waste glass contains heavy metals, which have adverse effects on soil and groundwater.
Taking advantage of the market gap, Feng Chaohui quickly started with a low profile and seized the track.
Technical difficulties: After ten visits to the "thatched cottage", the R & D personnel were hired. At the
beginning, Feng Zhaohui's dream of getting rich was almost shattered.
After market research, Feng Chaohui found that no domestic enterprise or research Institute has mastered the technology of high mixing and utilization of waste glass.
"Everyone said it was impossible, and no one supported me." Feng Chaohui's idea, at that time, seemed to be a fantasy.
At that time, in the glass production process at home and abroad, the highest proportion of waste glass in raw materials was about 30%. Because of the different production formulas of various waste glass, it was easy to cause unstable performance after recycling, and 30% was the "ceiling" of the industry at that time.

But Feng Chaohui firmly believes that the direction is right, as long as through scientific and technological innovation, the recycling of waste glass can be achieved, so he went to all parts of the country to invite experts.
"I can't ruin my reputation all my life on your impossible project." Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Research and Design Institute is the top glass research Institute in China. Feng Chaohui visited the "thatched cottage" ten times and was repeatedly rejected by experts.
Finally, moved by Feng Chaohui's sincerity, more than a dozen experts from top research institutes in China formed a team to tackle key problems. It took five years for the team to make an important breakthrough in the recycling technology of waste glass, and the ratio of waste glass in raw materials increased to about 50%.
On the verge of bankruptcy: burning down a car
in one day in 2012, Feng Zhaohui founded Hunan Juqiang Renewable Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. in Xiangxiang.
In the recycling of waste glass, high temperature melting in the furnace is an important process. At that time, horizontal flame kilns were widely used in the industry, but the energy-saving and consumption-reducing effect of horseshoe flame kilns was more obvious.

So Feng Chaohui tried to use the horseshoe flame kiln. This attempt almost ruined Feng Chaohui.
"Almost a car is burned every day!" Feng Chaohui recalled that at that time, because of the immature technology, the waste glass produced could only go to the low-end market, losing more than 300000 yuan a day. Over the past six months, Feng Chaohui has lost hundreds of millions of yuan.
"There is no way out after investing hundreds of millions of yuan." Because the formula of waste glass is different, in order to recycle it in a furnace, we must find a balance point of full homogenization.
Feng Zhaohui invited top experts at home and abroad, and after repeated debugging, the horseshoe flame kiln was put into operation steadily, the comprehensive energy consumption was reduced by more than 40%, and the mixing ratio of waste glass reached 90%.
These two technologies have filled the gaps in domestic technology and played a demonstration role in the reuse of resources in China, especially in the remelting and utilization of waste glass.
Leading the market: the only domestic waste glass high mixing recycling enterprise
on August 24, Juqiang Technology Company was in full swing.
Here, after sorting, cleaning, melting, edge pulling, forming, cutting, quality inspection and other procedures, the waste glass has become the original piece of the major glass factories.

Feng Chaohui introduced that the company produces more than 1100 tons of raw glass every day, with an annual output value of 500 million yuan, of which 90% of the raw materials are waste glass.
Juqiang Science and Technology has set up waste glass recycling points in all cities, prefectures and southern provinces of the province, and has also opened special trains for waste glass from Guangdong and Jiangxi to Xiangxiang. Zhou Yan, president of
Hunan Circular Economy Research Association, introduced that Hunan produces 700000 tons of waste glass annually, of which Juqiang Science and Technology can consume nearly 100000 tons a year. At present, Juqiang Science and Technology is the only glass manufacturer in China engaged in the recycling of waste glass and the use of high mixing.

In 2018, Juqiang Science and Technology won the Science and Technology Award of China Circular Economy Association. In 2022, Juqiang Science and Technology was recognized as a national specialized and new "Little Giant" enterprise.
