On August 29, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the Announcement on the Completion and Construction of Photovoltaic Rolled Glass Projects in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which showed that there were 18 production lines in 8 photovoltaic glass projects, of which 13 were under construction. 5 have been put into production. The total daily melting capacity is 21000 tons/day.
Among them, the production line project of Guangxi Xinyi Photovoltaic with an annual output of 600,000 tons of ultra-white solar glass has been completed and put into operation, with a daily production capacity of 2 × 1,000 tons. Some photovoltaic glass production lines of Guangxi Xinfuxing Silicon Technology Co., Ltd. and Beihai Changli New Material Technology Co., Ltd. have been announced to be put into operation, but the physical workload has not yet been formed; The rest of the photovoltaic projects are still under construction.
In addition, Guangxi Xinyi Photovoltaic Production Line Project with an annual output of 600000 tons of ultra-white solar glass requires supplementary capacity replacement procedures before the cold repair period.
According to the relevant requirements, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Autonomous Region and the Development and Reform Commission publicized the completed and under construction photovoltaic rolled glass projects reported by the hearing in the whole region from August 21 to August 27, 2023. There is no objection during the publicity period, and the relevant information is now announced.
