In 2022, Sany Group entered the field of photovoltaic manufacturing.
In February, Sany Group issued 14 bidding announcements for photovoltaic equipment in succession, covering single crystal furnace, slicer, screen printing equipment, etc. From the project name, the bidding equipment of Sany Group will be applied to the single crystal trial line of Sany Photovoltaic Project and the TOPCon photovoltaic cell trial line of Sany Photovoltaic Project.
In July, Sany Silicon Energy (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. was located in Sany Energy Industrial Park, Shifeng District, Zhuzhou City, mainly engaged in R & D, manufacturing and sales of new photovoltaic energy products such as silicon materials, single crystals, batteries and components, as well as their key equipment, providing overall solutions such as photovoltaic equipment and intelligent manufacturing production lines.
On October 16, the 500 MW-topcon photovoltaic cell pilot line invested by the company was put into operation, and the first photovoltaic cell production line was successfully completed.
In November, the first monocrystalline silicon rod produced by Sany Silicon Energy, a subsidiary of Sany Group, was successfully released in the Energy Industrial Park, announcing that Sany Silicon Energy has formally entered the stage of production and operation. With the launch of photovoltaic module products in December of
the same year, Sany Silicon has successfully opened up the whole photovoltaic industry chain, with independent R & D and production capacity from crystal pulling, slicing, batteries to modules, which also announces that Sany has formally entered the vertical integration camp of the photovoltaic industry.
