On August 26, Star Source Material announced that the company intends to invest in the construction of lithium battery diaphragm production base in Penang, Malaysia, through its subsidiary Innovia New Material Technology (Malaysia) Co., Ltd. as the main body of project implementation, with a total investment of no more than 5 billion yuan. The

announcement shows that the project covers an area of about 66 acres, with a construction period of 18 months, and is expected to produce 2 billion square meters of lithium-ion battery wet diaphragm and supporting coated diaphragm annually after completion.
