Recently, all parts of Jiangsu have launched yellow warning of heavy pollution weather. On January 8, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment exposed six typical cases of failing to implement emergency control measures for heavily polluted weather as required, involving Xuzhou, Nantong, Huaian, Yangzhou, Suqian and Wuxi.
One of them is a typical case that the concrete mixing station failed to implement the heavy pollution weather as required:
on January 6, 2023, during the yellow warning period of heavy pollution weather in Yangzhou City, the law enforcement officers of Jiangdu Ecological Environment Bureau of Yangzhou City carried out administrative law enforcement on a concrete manufacturing company. The inspection found that the 1 # and 2 # concrete mixers of the unit were in normal production and did not stop production in accordance with the control requirements. The unit's concrete mixing production line did not stop production during the yellow warning period of heavy pollution weather, which may cause serious environmental pollution.
In response to the above-mentioned actions of the unit, on January 6, 2023, the Jiangdu Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Yangzhou City, in accordance with the provisions of Article 30 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution and Item 6 of Article 4, Paragraph 1, of the Measures for the Implementation of Seizure and Seizure by the Competent Department of Environmental Protection, issued the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yangzhou City. The power supply equipment of 1 # and 2 # concrete mixers of the unit was sealed up and the decision of sealing up was issued.
