12月18日23时59分，甘肃省临夏回族自治州积石山县发生6.2级地震。截至目前，地震已造成甘肃100人遇难、96人受伤。震中及周边民房和水、电、路等基础设施不同程度损坏。
另据青海省委宣传部和青海省应急管理厅等部门透露，甘肃积石山6.2级地震波及邻省青海。截至12月19日6时，地震已造成青海省海东市11人遇难，140人受伤。
据中国水泥网了解，临夏回族自治州主要水泥企业为临夏海螺水泥，具有两条水泥熟料生产线。中国水泥网第一时间致电该水泥企业相关负责人，据其回复表示此次地震对水泥企业影响不大。从交流中得知，临夏海螺水泥目前处于停产检修状态。
青海海东市一水泥企业也表示，此次地震对水泥厂人员及设施等没有影响。
后续中国水泥网也将持续关注本次地震对于当地水泥企业的影响。
