2023, with the approval of the National Energy Administration, the R & D Center was selected as the first batch of "horse racing first" innovation platform of the National Energy Administration's "14th Five-Year Plan", and began a three-year horse racing period. After the end of the horse racing period, the National Energy Administration will organize a comprehensive evaluation, formally license the innovative platform with the evaluation result of "excellent", and complete the final identification. Zou Jianxin's academic report entitled "Development and Application of High Capacity Magnesium-based Hydrogen Storage Materials" introduced to the participants the role of solid-state hydrogen storage technology in the hydrogen energy industry chain and the advantages of magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage materials. New Energy Institute, made an academic report entitled "Innovation and Practice of Hydrogen Energy in the Academy of Stone Sciences", which reported on the research and development ideas and layout of the hydrogen energy industry chain of the Academy of Stone Sciences with the goal of demonstration application. This paper introduces the latest progress and achievements of the Academy of Petroleum Sciences in megawatt PEM water electrolysis hydrogen production, distributed station hydrogen production, Pem hydrogen fuel cell, solid alloy hydrogen storage, as well as a series of innovative work in basic common problems research, key material development, system integration and so on. At the
future planning
meeting, Lin Wei reported on the future construction plan of the R & D center, pointing out that the petrochemical industry, as the largest downstream user of hydrogen, is one of its important carbon reduction paths by adjusting the energy structure and hydrogen attributes to reduce CO2 emissions. The R & D center will play an important role in key common problems, independent technological innovation and demonstration application, leading the development of green hydrogen refining technology through core technology research, and building an international advanced green hydrogen refining technology original base and a new technology and talent growth base. Stone Sciences, made a concluding speech, saying that in the next step, under the guidance of the State Energy Administration and Sinopec Group, the R & D center will focus on the demonstration of hydrogen energy technology engineering, give full play to the technical advantag es of the participating units, and constantly find problems in the process of pilot test and industrial demonstration of green hydrogen refining.
