On August 22, New Tianshan Cement held a cadre meeting to announce the adjustment of the leadership of New Tianshan Cement by China Building Materials Co., Ltd. Li Xueqin, secretary of the board of directors and general counsel of New Tianshan Cement, read out the resolution of the board of directors of New Tianshan Cement, elected Liu Yan as chairman and appointed He Xiaolong as vice president.

Zhou Yuxian pointed out that under the leadership of the board of directors headed by Chang Zhangli, the reorganization and integration of New Tianshan Cement has achieved excellent results. He thanked Chang Zhangli for his important contribution to the reform and development of New Tianshan Cement, and fully affirmed the hard work of the leading group and the cadres and staff of New Tianshan Cement. It is hoped that all cadres and employees of New Tianshan Cement will improve their position, unify their ideas to the decisions of the Party Committee of the Group and the Joint Stock Company, and actively support and cooperate with the work of Liu Yan and He Xiaolong. Zhou Yuxian stressed the need to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the basic building materials industry. First, we should focus on the "three tail-warping factors" to accelerate the transformation, expand the profit space through "cement +", expand the market space through "internationalization", and expand the sustainable development space through "double carbon". Second, we should focus on "three modernizations" to speed up upgrading. In terms of high-end, we should broaden our horizons and coordinate the upgrading of operation quality, product varieties and application scenarios. In terms of intellectualization, we should form a unified standard of intellectualization and do a good job of replication and promotion; In the aspect of greening, we should accelerate the layout of new energy and the co-disposal of urban solid waste, and do a good job of green transformation from the perspective of politics, economy and sustainable development. New Tianshan Cement should keep a close eye on the target, strengthen confidence, reach consensus, unite, optimize and implement the development plan, and create a new situation of high-quality development.

Chang Zhangli congratulated Comrades Liu Yan and He Xiaolong on their new appointments. Wei Rushan said that for the adjustment of the board of directors and leadership of New Tianshan Cement, all cadres and staff of New Tianshan Cement should raise awareness and integrate their thoughts and actions into the decisions of the Party Committee of the Group and the Joint Stock Company. Under the leadership of the new chairman of the board of directors, New Tianshan Cement should not be afraid of difficulties, go forward bravely, continue to play a good role as the ballast stone of the group, and achieve three "grasps": grasp the "four stability, three reduction, two reduction and one supplement", firmly promote the steady progress of production and operation; grasp the "three fine management", comprehensively enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises; grasp the construction of cadres and talents, and strive to create a good atmosphere for entrepreneurship.

The cement industry is moving towards a low-carbon, more energy-saving and greener high-quality development.  

At the same time, the medal ceremony of "2023 Advanced Enterprises of Double Carbon in Cement Industry" and the "Double Carbon" Equipment Exhibition will be held.
