Recently, the list of green manufacturing benchmarks for the building materials industry in 2022 was announced, including 44 green factories and 7 units in Huaxin, ranking first in the industry and leading the annual green list of the building materials industry. Huaxin Cement (Huangshi) Co., Ltd., Huaxin Jinlong Cement (Yunxian) Co., Ltd., Huaxin Cement (Henan Xinyang) Co., Ltd., Huaxin Cement (Wuxue) Co., Ltd., Huaxin Cement (Yangxin) Co., Ltd., Huaxin Cement (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. and Huaxin Cement (Chibi) Co., Ltd. are on the list. Huaxin has been recognized as "green manufacturing" in the building materials industry and has made steady progress on the road of green and low-carbon development.
In order to implement the requirements of documents such as the "Carbon Peak Implementation Plan for Building Materials Industry" and the "14th Five-Year Plan for Green Development of Industry", the evaluation of the green manufacturing benchmarking list was organized by the China Building Materials Federation in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the construction of the national green manufacturing system, aiming at strengthening the green manufacturing benchmarking demonstration. We will further promote the green, low-carbon, safe and high-quality development of the building materials industry.
"Green Factory" is the production unit of manufacturing industry, the implementation subject of green manufacturing, and the core support unit of the national green manufacturing system. Huaxin has been giving full play to its technological and equipment advantages in co-disposal of domestic waste, hazardous waste disposal and substitution of fossil energy fuels, and actively creating green factories with the characteristics of intensive land use, clean production, waste recycling and low-carbon energy. Up to now, 11 factories under Huaxin have been selected into the national "green factory" list, and another 6 factories have won the title of "green factory" at the provincial and municipal levels.
