Recently, the inland river ship "Wan * * *" set out from Binhai Port in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, and returned to the Yangtze River under the escort of patrol boats and tugboats. This is the second 10,000-ton inland river transport ship repatriated by the Yancheng Maritime Bureau across its jurisdiction.
It is reported that "Wan * * *" was seized by law enforcement officers on the spot in the Dafeng sea area of Yancheng because the inland river ship was engaged in maritime transportation beyond the navigation area. In order to effectively eliminate the hidden dangers of maritime operations, after consultation with relevant maritime agencies, the Yancheng Maritime Bureau decided to repatriate the ship, formulate an escort repatriation plan and actively inform the maritime management agencies along the way, and jointly maintain the safe return of the ship to inland waters. On December 21,
