Another 20GW TopCon Photovoltaic Cell Project Signed! Tianhe, Tongwei, Atlas, Jingao … Many dragon heads have settled here.

On April 26, the signing ceremony of 20GW TopCon Photovoltaic Cell Project of Sichuan Youhua Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Youhua Group") was held in Yancheng Economic Development Zone, which is another important achievement for the region to compete for a new track of green and low-carbon development and strive to build a "Global Optical Valley".

Youhua Group's 20GW TopCon photovoltaic cell Yancheng project has a total investment of 10 billion yuan , with an annual output value of about 20 billion yuan, and the first phase of the project will start construction before the end of June this year. It will be completed and put into operation by the end of January next year.

It is understood that Youhua Group is a multi-industry private enterprise, after nearly 30 years of development, currently has 12 wholly-owned or holding enterprises, including one listed company. Its main business is the manufacture of large-scale equipment such as conveying machinery, industrial pumps and valves, water conservancy machinery, mechanical seals and agricultural machinery, carbon graphite and new chemical materials, engineering construction and commercial and residential real estate development.

At present, Yancheng has formed a complete photovoltaic industry chain, from the supply of raw materials to the production of cells and components, as well as photovoltaic intelligent manufacturing equipment, inverters, metal aluminum frames, brackets, welding strips and other supporting links, with good conditions for the construction of photovoltaic cell capacity.

At present, a large number of leading photovoltaic equipment manufacturing enterprises such as Trina Solar, Tongwei, Atlas, Runyang, Jingao, Xiexin, Yueyang, Zhengtai and Huaining have settled down, and Yancheng has built the largest industrial cluster of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and components in China.

According to reports, the development goal of Yancheng Jingkai District in 2023 is to ensure that the production capacity of photovoltaic cells and components reaches 80 GW respectively, and the industrial invoice sales reach 100 billion yuan.
