Environmental Impact Assessment of Special Corridor for Jiangxi Jiujiang Guling Mine Project with Total Investment of 1 Billion yuan Approved

Recently, the environmental impact assessment of the special corridor construction project for construction aggregate transportation in Xiguling mining area of Jiujiang, Jiangxi, was formally approved. The maximum transportation capacity of the corridor of the project is 5000t/H. After the completion of the project, the annual transportation scale of 24 million tons of building aggregates will be formed. The total investment of the project is 1 billion yuan. In addition, it is understood that the Xiguling Mine Project will be completed and put into operation in December this year, with a production scale of 9.06 million tons per year.

According to the announcement, the approved corridor project spans Wenquan Town and Xingzi Town of Lushan City, starting near the finished product yard of Xiguling Granite Mine Processing Zone and ending at Pohu Comprehensive Wharf. The total length of the corridor is 6159 meters, including 4500 meters of buried length and 1659 meters of overhead corridor. The project is mainly composed of main works, temporary works, public works and environmental protection works, specifically including corridor works (underground and semi-underground), rainbow bridge, support, trestle, transfer station, public works, etc. In January

2021, Lushan Xiguling New Materials Co., Ltd. finally acquired the mining right of the corridor project mine, Xiguling Mine, at an initial cost of 4.016 billion yuan, with a comprehensive unit cost of about 120 yuan per square meter. Among them, the final transaction price of mining rights is 2.376 billion yuan, and the contract fee for land expropriation, disposal of ground attachments (compensation for cancellation of mining rights of the former Libolong Non-metallic Mine Processing Plant, house demolition, grave relocation) and road construction is 1.64 billion yuan.

According to the public information, the mining area of the mine covers an area of 0.88 square kilometers, with a total of 33.1796 million cubic meters of granite ore for 332 + 333 finishes and a mining life of 21 years. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in December this year. After completion, it can produce 9.06 million tons of granite for environmental protection building stones and 300000 cubic meters of granite blocks for decoration annually.
