Yesterday, a bulk carrier carrying 3000 tons of cement imported from Vietnam berthed at Qili Port, Yueqing, Wenzhou. Under the supervision of Wenzhou Customs, this batch of cement successfully achieved rapid customs clearance according to the intelligent commodity inspection acceptance mode. The process from unloading to customs clearance took only 12 hours, which reduced the customs clearance time by more than 90% compared with the original customs clearance time.
It is reported that there are 250,000 cubic meters of imported cement storage tanks in the open ports of Wenzhou. With the effective help of the import cement acceptance measures, it is estimated that the annual import cement volume will reach one million tons, which will also play a positive role in ensuring the construction of local infrastructure projects. On September 24
this year, the Macun Port Customs, which belongs to Haikou Customs, also supervised a batch of imported Vietnamese cement with a cargo weight of 22300 tons and a customs clearance time of 2 hours.
