Total investment 2.1 billion! The company continues to increase its heterojunction battery project.

December 14, Aikang Technologies announced that the company intends to invest in the construction of 4.6G W HJT battery production project.

According to the announcement, the 4.6G W HJT battery production project is to be invested and constructed by Ganzhou Aikang Optoelectronics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aikang Science and Technology. The total investment in fixed assets of the project is 2.1 billion yuan , with a new 600MW and five 800MW HJT battery production lines.

Aikang Technologies said that the production plan is to expand production by sales, combined with market and customer demand forecasts, orders in hand, increase production capacity in batches and lines according to orders, and the completion time is consistent with the increase of orders in the market. The company plans to complete the main equipment of the first HJT battery production line in January 2024.

For this expansion, Aikang Technologies said that up to now, Aikang Technologies HJT component orders in hand are about 2.95 GW , and the company's own production capacity of HJT batteries has been unable to meet the demand for component orders. According to

the data, Aikang Science and Technology has adopted the layout of four solar cell module production bases in Suzhou, Ganzhou, Huzhou and Zhoushan . At present, the production capacity of 3.2G W HJT battery , 0.8G W PERC battery and 10.4GW module has been realized .

Previously, Aikang Technologies disclosed a fixed increase plan in April this year. It plans to raise 300 million yuan to invest in Huzhou Aikang 2.42 GW high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic cell construction project . The project will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase of 0.82 GW high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic cell project and the second phase of 1.6 GW high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic cell project, which is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. , Aikang Technologies said that in terms of capacity planning, it will plan to achieve more than 40 GW of high-efficiency solar cell and module capacity within five years through the layout of several high-efficiency bases in Suzhou, Huzhou, Ganzhou, Zhoushan and Wuxi.
