17, McGrady Technologies disclosed its semi-annual report for 2023.
This is the first semi-annual report of McGrady Technology since it officially crossed the photovoltaic industry , but the results are not satisfactory. During the
reporting period, the Company achieved a total operating income of RMB153 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.32%; the net profit loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB57.787 million, turning from profit to loss on a year-on-year basis.

of the company and the introduction of state-owned assets. Rapid Layout of New Photovoltaic Track & nbsp; On January 13
this year, McGrady Technologies announced that the board of directors of the company had considered and approved the N-type high-efficiency TOPCon battery manufacturing project on the investment of high-efficiency solar cell intelligent manufacturing project, formally entering the new photovoltaic track and seeking new development.
However, more than half a year later, McGrady Technology's first mid-term exam results were quite disappointing. During the
reporting period, the company's net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies decreased by 77.9439 million yuan, a decrease of 386.69% over the same period last year. McGrady Technologies said that this is due to the promotion of the company's new strategy and the large investment in the early stage of new energy photovoltaic business. According to
public information, McGrady Technologies, founded in 2009 and located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, is an enterprise with the core business of providing clinical medical management information system (CIS) series application software and overall solution of clinical informatization.
Prior to this, McGrady Technology has tried to cross the border many times, and has been involved in assisted reproductive medical services, medical beauty and other fields, but not very willing. Before entering the track through project investment
this year, McGrady Technologies has quietly established a new energy company in April 2022, covering the photovoltaic field, but no substantial progress has been made.
Until the beginning of this year, McGrady Technology introduced Haoxiang Holdings to become its largest shareholder, and the company's actual controller was changed to Mianyang's state-owned assets.
It is understood that the photovoltaic industry is one of the seven billion-grade manufacturing projects in Mianyang, with cell manufacturing as the core. At present, the Mianyang Municipal Government is actively introducing new energy upstream and downstream industrial chain projects and carrying out in-depth cooperation. The follow-up will further promote the integrated development of the "upper, middle and lower reaches" of the photovoltaic industry chain. The introduction of state-owned assets in Mianyang City as the controlling shareholder, and relying on its financial strength and resource integration advantages, obviously opens up a broad road for the photovoltaic road of McGrady Technology.
With the support of national policies and development strategies, McGrady Technology has rapidly promoted the landing of new businesses. In February this year, Haohao New Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed the Project Investment Agreement with the People's Government of Anzhou District, Mianyang City, to build an intelligent factory project with an annual output of 9 GW high-efficiency monocrystalline batteries, with a total planned investment of about 1.862 billion yuan.
On May 15, the first production line of the 9GW high-efficiency single crystal TOPCon cell project was completed, and the first cell was successfully offline and put into production.
By the end of June, the project of 9GW high-efficiency monocrystalline TOPCon cells has been completed, and is in the stage of equipment commissioning, capacity climbing and trial production.
Seize the opportunity to plan second phase of the project & nbsp;
This year, Maddie Technology seized the development opportunities of the industry, aimed at the new energy photovoltaic industry to expand the scope of the main business, and accelerated the implementation of the project, with a view to seeking new growth points.
Up to now, about 4G W production lines of McGrady Technologies have been put into operation, with an average efficiency of more than 25.2% and an average yield of more than 91%. At the same time, the company has established a communication and cooperation mechanism with major mainstream component manufacturers, and the products have begun to send samples for testing, and sales have been carried out one after another.
McGrady Technologies said in the announcement that the company is currently in the photovoltaic industry for the production of photovoltaic cells, the main product is N-type TOPCon batteries.
McGrady Technology also said in a recent survey that it is optimistic about the N-type market prospects. At present, the industry is in an iterative upgrade period from P-type to N-type. Because the actual production capacity of N-type technology is less than expected, the supply of N-type batteries is in short supply.
"The company's transformation investment in N-type batteries, at present, the construction speed in the market is relatively fast, and has the opportunity to share the dividends brought by technological progress in the industry.". Follow-up companies will continue to reduce costs and increase efficiency, strive for leading technology and cost advantages in the field of N-type batteries, and gain stronger competitiveness. The person in charge of McGrady Technology added.
In addition, the company also said that it has been discussing the planning of the second phase of the project, and the specific construction time and the choice of technical routes depend on the landing of the first phase of the project, the climbing of the products, the actual operation of the production lines, the land demolition of the local government, the construction of supporting facilities and the overall technological development of the photovoltaic field.
