Anhui Huaihe River Bureau, together with Bengbu Water Conservancy Bureau and Chuzhou Water Conservancy Bureau, organized a joint law enforcement campaign to crack down on illegal sand mining in the waters between Bengbu City and Chuzhou City on the main stream of the Huaihe River in 2023, and the River and Lake Department of the Provincial Water Conservancy Department sent personnel to guide it. this joint law enforcement operation, the two cities and four counties and districts dispatched 41 people in five law enforcement boats, focusing on inspecting the Mohekou section of Bengbu City, the Shilicheng section of Wuhe County and the waters at the junction of Linhuaiguan in Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, to investigate illegal transport vessels. No illegal sand mining vessels were found in the operation.
