2014-Pan-North China peak staggering production in January 2015-Northern 15 provinces and cities peak staggering production in 2016-Southern provinces joining in succession from 2017 to 2021, while the northern summer peak staggering began-2022, the industry further extended the peak staggering production time. The production time of 21 provinces is more than 100 days.
In recent years, the off-peak production time has continued to increase and the scope has been expanding, especially in 2022, the off-peak production time has increased significantly, and the implementation is more vigorous than before.
Nowadays, due to the market demand is not up to expectations, the shipment volume of enterprises is not high, environmental protection and other factors, some regions require to extend the peak staggering time again.
According to market feedback, in the second quarter, enterprises in Guizhou planned to stop kilns for 60 days at the wrong peak. In the second quarter of last year, Guizhou required each production line to stop kilns for another 5 days at the wrong peak on the basis of 40 days at the wrong peak, that is, 45 days. This year, another 15 days were added. At the end of March,
Inner Mongolia Cement Association issued the Notice on Organizing Cement Clinker Enterprises in Central and Western China to Delay Kiln Opening, which said that according to the current situation of large clinker stocks in most enterprises, it would take one month to delay kiln opening. The scope of peak staggering is all cement clinker (including carbide slag and co-disposal of hazardous wastes) production lines in the Midwest. The delayed starting period is from April 1 to April 30.
Hunan Cement Association issued the Notice on Increasing 5 Days of Staggered Kiln Shutdown in the Second Quarter of 2023, which said that in the first and second quarters, 5 days of staggered kiln shutdown time were added on the basis of the original 35 days, of which the units that did not stop kilns in the first quarter were in place in the second quarter, that is, 40 days + N days in the second quarter. Cement clinker enterprises in
central and southern Hebei have stopped kilns for 10 days since April 25. After the completion of kiln shutdown, they will continue to carry out the task of peak staggering production in non-heating season. According to the statistics of Cement Big Data Research Institute, the kiln shutdown in the first quarter of 2023, the peak staggering time in the northern region has not changed much, and some provinces in the southern region have been extended again.
