The Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Chenzhou City, Hunan Province has adjusted the off-peak production shutdown time of four cement enterprises, including Huaxin Cement, from December 8 to December 31, 2023, and the increased shutdown time can be adjusted in the first quarter of 2024. This is aimed at strengthening the prevention and control of air pollution.

Recently, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, issued a notice on adjusting the off-peak production and shutdown time of cement enterprises.

The notice requires that the kiln shutdown time of Huaxin Cement , Liangtian Cement, Suxian South and Kangda (Hunan) Cement Co., Ltd. be adjusted. The shutdown time is from 12:00 on December 8, 2023 to 24:00 on December 31, 2023. The increased shutdown time can be adjusted in the first quarter of 2024, and the total number of shutdown days during the special protection period of air pollution prevention and control in 2023-2024 remains unchanged.

Earlier, Hunan Province issued a notice of peak staggering production in the cement industry. The peak-shifting production period in Hunan Province is from September 1, 2023 to March 15, 2024. The peak-shifting production days base of cement clinker production line is 100 days, of which the peak-shifting production days base from September 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 is not less than 55 days.
