On December 4, the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government issued a notice on the appointment and removal of Liu Shenghui and other posts. According to
the notice, Liu Shenghui was appointed as the chairman of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd.; Ni Zhen and Wang Qida were appointed as the directors of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd.; Hu Zhongming was removed as the chairman and director of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd.; and Lu Xiang was removed as the director of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd.
It is reported that Hu Zhongming succeeded Tong Yahui as director and chairman of Zhengneng Group in December 2020 for three years. Established in 2001,
Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in power supply construction, power and thermal production, oil, coal and natural gas development, trade and circulation, energy technology, energy services and energy finance. By the end of 2022, Zhengneng Group has more than 23000 employees, total assets of 299.1 billion yuan, owner's equity of 138.2 billion yuan, and nearly 500 management enterprises. The total installed capacity of power generation is 39.09 million kilowatts, generating 177.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2022, supplying 61.07 million tons of coal and 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas (including transmission).
Liu Shenghui, male, Han nationality, born in July 1967, Cangnan, Zhejiang Province, took part in work in July 1992, joined the Communist Party of China in January 1988, with a doctoral degree. He was an assistant researcher of the Criminal Technology Research Office of the Institute of Forensic Science and Technology of the Ministry of Justice, an associate professor and master's supervisor of Zhejiang University of Technology, a deputy county head of the People's Government of Xinchang County, a deputy director of the Statistical Evaluation and Distribution Office of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, a deputy director of the Office (Party Committee Office), a director of the Performance Evaluation and Distribution Office, and a director of the Office (Party Committee Office). From September 2016 to May 2022, he served as deputy director and member of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. In May 2022, he was appointed as a director of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd. In November 2023, he was appointed Chairman of Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd.
