Recently, in order to continue to fight the battle of defending the blue sky, the State Council issued the Action Plan for Continuous Improvement of Air Quality, which is the third national-level action plan for defending the blue sky after the "Ten Atmospheric Articles" in 2013.
The action plan calls for improving air quality as the core, reducing heavily polluted weather and solving prominent atmospheric environmental problems around the people as the focus, reducing the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) as the main line, carrying out regional coordinated governance, planning the path of air pollution prevention and control by combining far and near research, and improving the air quality. We will firmly promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industry, energy and transportation. The cement industry has never been absent in the journey of continuous improvement of
air quality.
Ultra-low emissions, garden factories, green mines, which were once regarded as the standard of excellent cement factories, have gradually become the standard of most enterprises in recent years. In the process of rapid development of the industry, facing the challenges of environmental protection, the cement industry has been concentrating on overcoming difficulties. What is more valuable is that the cement industry, facing the transformation of environmental protection, has also upgraded from passive in the past to active today, and has achieved a qualitative leap.
Among them, a large number of excellent cement enterprises have emerged, either taking the lead in nitrogen oxide emission reduction, or constantly exploring carbon capture and utilization, or continuing to work hard in increasing the application of alternative fuels. It is precisely because these cement enterprises continue to make outstanding contributions in environmental protection transformation and green upgrading that they step by step promote the whole industry to a greener future.
In order to show the style of excellent cement enterprises and establish the "green" image of the cement industry, the "2023 Cement Enterprise Influence Selection" sponsored by China Cement Network came as scheduled. The event will select " 2023 Cement Industry Environmental Protection Outstanding Contribution Enterprises " and will hold an award ceremony at the "2024 China Cement Industry Summit".
"Cement Enterprise Influence Selection" has been successfully held for four consecutive sessions, which has played an important role in promoting the application and promotion of new products, new equipment and new technologies in the cement industry.
