In the trading system, use the old voluntary emission reduction registration system to initiate the representative or confirm the representative's account number and password, log in the visitor login interface * [4], and submit the application for opening an account in the trading system after supplementing relevant materials.

For the market participants who have not opened the registration account of the old voluntary emission reduction registration system before August 18, 2023, if they need to use the old CCER to offset the annual quota clearance in 2021 and 2022, they will be able to do so. It is necessary to open the registration account of the old voluntary emission reduction registration system, the trading account of any one of the nine trading institutions and the registration account of the new voluntary emission reduction registration system. The application materials for opening the registration account of the

new voluntary emission reduction registration system shall be submitted to the National Greenhouse Gas Voluntary Emission Reduction Registration System Management Agency (the National Center for Strategic Research and International Cooperation on Climate Change, hereinafter referred to as the "Registration System Management Agency") for review after the preliminary examination and approval by the trading system management agency.
