Our county is committed to building the western region. District new material development and production base, focusing on expanding the development and application of silicon-based new materials in photovoltaic, chemical, electronic information, ceramics and other fields, is one of the counties and cities with great potential for silica development and utilization in Gansu Province.
The orebody is mainly composed of quartz sandstone and vein quartz. The preliminarily ascertained silica reserve is 10378 5,400 tons, and the estimated prospective resource is 500-800 million tons. The upstream production raw materials are abundant.
Green power resources are abundant, and 12.12 million kilowatts of new energy power generation have been built, including 9.3 million kilowatts of wind power and 2 million kilowatts of peak-shaving thermal power. According to the development layout, there are still 100 million kilowatts of new energy available for development and utilization. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, 15 million kilowatts of new energy power generation are planned to be added. The total installed capacity of energy has exceeded 25 million kilowatts, which can provide sufficient green electricity for project production. During
the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, our county plans to add 5 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, and there is a large demand for photovoltaic modules. At the same time, the components of Baofeng Photovoltaic Whole Industry Chain Project introduced by our county have a huge demand for photovoltaic rolled glass. After the completion of the project, the products can be sold nearby to speed up the return of funds. The project plans to build a photovoltaic rolled glass processing production line with an annual output of 3.75 million ㎡ (3.2mm), purchase and install production equipment, and build office buildings, production workshops, raw material warehouses and other infrastructure.
