On April 21, the Notice of the Work Program for Promoting the Withdrawal of Backward Production Capacity in Guangdong Province in 2023 was issued, focusing on the industries of iron and steel, cement, electrolytic aluminium and flat glass (the coal industry in our province has withdrawn as a whole and is no longer included), through improving the comprehensive standard system, strictly normalizing law enforcement and implementing mandatory standards, the coal industry in Guangdong Province will be strengthened. We will implement departmental linkage and local responsibilities, further promote market-oriented, legalized and normalized working mechanisms, and urge a number of energy consumption, environmental protection, safety and technology to fail to meet standards and produce substandard products or obsolete production capacity, and shut down and withdraw in accordance with the law and regulations.
