Hello! In March of

another year, when the spring breeze and rain, today, China Cement Industry Green Development Summit Forum and Intelligent Summit Forum are solemnly held in the beautiful Star City of Changsha. First of all, on behalf of Hunan Building Materials Federation, Hunan Cement Association and New Tianshan Zhongnan Cement, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the leaders, guests and representatives of participating enterprises attending this meeting! Thanks to China Cement Network for bringing us together to discuss and share new technologies and concepts in the cement industry through such a conference, so as to provide wings for the green development and intelligent transformation of China's cement industry!

Cement is an important basic building material product. In the past few decades, thanks to the progress of production technology and the improvement of management level, the cement industry has provided a large number of high-quality building materials for the national economic construction, greatly improved the efficiency of fixed assets investment, and made outstanding contributions to the rapid development of China's economy.

Nowadays, standing in the window of the new era, the cement industry needs to face a higher level of development. On the one hand, green development has become the theme of the cement industry. We need to provide more efficient and reasonable technical solutions for the ultra-low emission of pollutants in the cement industry through continuous technological upgrading; at the same time, we should shoulder the historical mission of carbon emission reduction, constantly explore the path of carbon reduction in the cement industry, and promote the industry to achieve carbon neutrality as soon as possible. On the other hand, digital and intelligent technology has been proved to play an important role in further reducing energy consumption and pollutant emissions in the cement industry. In recent years, leading domestic cement enterprises have also invested a lot of manpower and material resources in the field of intelligent upgrading, and built a number of advanced demonstration factories. In the future, digital and intelligent technology will open a new chapter for the cement industry and give new momentum.

However, we also need to see that industrial upgrading is inseparable from sustained investment in human and material resources. Since last year, influenced by the downturn of the real estate industry and other factors, the domestic demand for cement has declined sharply, the good industry ecology formed over the years has been challenged, the price of cement has continued to decline, the profit of the whole industry has declined by 60%, and a large number of cement enterprises are in a loss state, which greatly limits the pace of technological upgrading of cement enterprises. It is not conducive to the green and high-quality development of the industry. Reasonable profit is the prerequisite for the development of the industry. Here, I appeal to speed up the formation of industry consensus, resolutely implement peak staggering production, put an end to vicious market competition, jointly maintain the hard-won development situation, and promote China's cement industry into a new era. In the future, Zhongnan Cement will continue to promote technological innovation and management innovation, continue to improve the level of intelligence, and explore new ways of energy saving and carbon reduction; Hunan Building Materials Association and Cement Association will also actively play the role of organization and coordination to promote the continuous progress of the industry in green environmental protection, intelligent upgrading and other fields.
