Lixin Energy said that as of the date of the announcement, the company had not received the merger and reorganization plan and notice of shareholder units, and would disclose the progress in a timely manner in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
According to Tian Eye Check, Xinjiang Energy Group is the controlling shareholder of Lixin Energy, holding 47.38% of the shares . After the merger and reorganization, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is still the actual controller of Lixin Energy.
According to the information of Xinjiang Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., at the end of July 2023, in order to integrate superior energy resources, accelerate the development and utilization of coal, wind and photovoltaic, oil and gas resources in Xinjiang and the development of the whole industrial chain in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection, build a modern energy industry system in Xinjiang, and further strengthen and expand Xinjiang. To better support the construction of the national energy resources strategic guarantee base and the national "three bases and one channel" in the new era, the Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region merged and reorganized the former Xinjiang Energy Group and Xinjiang New Energy Group to form a new Xinjiang Energy Group. After the reorganization and merger, Xinjiang Energy Group has registered capital of 20 billion yuan, total assets of nearly 48 billion yuan, and has one listed company (Lixin Energy Co., Ltd., listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2022).
It is understood that after the merger and reorganization of Xinjiang Energy Group, the current business areas include coal sector, new energy sector, energy conservation and environmental protection sector and energy technology services sector.
