Recently, Heyuan Natural Resources Bureau issued a pre-announcement on the transfer of mining rights of metamorphic sandstone mine for construction in Tongziwa Mining Area, Linjiang Town, Jiangdong New District, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province.
The announcement shows that the metamorphic sandstone mine for construction in Tongziwa Mining Area, Linjiang Town, Jiangdong New District, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province is located in three villages, Hekeng, Shengli and Nianfeng, Linjiang Town, Jiangdong New District, Heyuan City, about 15 km from Heyuan City. The mining area has convenient traffic conditions. It is about 12 kilometers away from the south entrance of Changshen Expressway, about 6 kilometers away from the riverside shoreline of Dongjiang River (Baipu River Estuary), and about 15 kilometers away from the Guzhu shoreline of Dongjiang River. Mineral products can reach the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area directly through the belt corridor and the Dongjiang waterway. In addition, Heyuan-Huizhou-Shantou Expressway is planned near the mining area, which can reach Xiaomo Port of Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone directly.
The proposed mining area covers an area of 1.92 km2, and the mining minerals are metamorphic sandstone for construction and diorite for construction, with a resource reserve of about 104 million cubic meters. The mineral composition of metamorphic quartz sandstone for

Rock radioactivity: the specific activity of natural radionuclide potassium-40 (40K), radium-226 (226Ra) and thorium-232 (232Th) meets IRa ≤ 1.0 and Ir ≤ 1.0, which can be used as main building materials and Class A decoration materials. 2. Adhesion index: The highest grade of asphalt adhesion is Grade 5, which meets the requirements of Class I technical index in the general industrial index of the Code for Mineral and Geological Exploration (DZ/T0341-2020), and can be used as high-speed rail, highway and other high-grade concrete coarse aggregate, highway asphalt concrete pavement gravel, etc. The compensation for land circulation and ground attachments within the scope of the mining area
to be transferred shall be completed by the territorial government within a time limit by means of general contracting, and the relevant expenses shall be paid by the bidder. The relocation of power lines within the scope of the mining area
to be transferred and the scope of its influence shall be coordinated by the territorial government, and the relevant expenses shall be borne by the bidder. Forest indicators for land use in
mines and supporting industrial processing zones, office and living areas, belt corridors and wharfs shall be coordinated and fully guaranteed by the government.
