On April 20, the new Uygur Industry and Information Technology Department issued the Announcement on the Adjustment of Peak-Staggered Production Time for Cement Enterprises in Xinjiang from 2022 to 2023 (the third batch).
The announcement is as follows:
In order to implement the spirit of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on Further Improving the Normalized Peak-Staggered Production of Cement (MIIT Lianyuan [2020] No.201), The Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Autonomous Region, the Department of Ecological Environment of the Autonomous Region, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of the Corps and the Bureau of Ecological Environment of the Corps jointly issued the Notice on Issuing the Peak-Staggered Cement Production Plan from 2022 to 2023 (Xin Gong Xin Building Materials [2022] No.2). According to the notification requirements, some prefectural bureaus of industry and information technology and ecological environment have requested to change the peak staggering time of relevant enterprises due to the relationship between supply and demand in the regional market. After examination and verification by the Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Department of Ecology and Environment of the Autonomous Region, the list of the third batch of cement clinker production enterprises that have adjusted the peak staggering production time is now announced, and the public is welcome to supervise it.
