Affected by the world-famous "Qiantang River Tide", the highest tide level at the construction site is 6.13 meters, the lowest is only -3.76 meters, and the impact force is 2.7 tons. There are 52 bored piles in the No.8 main pylon pier. The No.10 pile is constructed this time, with a length of 129.5 meters, a diameter of 2.5 meters and a drilling depth of 151 meters. It is the deepest bored pile foundation in the world at present. The silt and sand layer in the stratum is thick, so it is difficult to form holes and piles, and the pile body is grouted after the pile foundation. In order to ensure that the drilling inclination is not more than 1/150, China Railway Bridge Bureau has developed a SWDM800 large rotary drilling rig with a maximum drilling diameter of 4.5 meters and a drilling depth of 155 meters. The inertia rotary platform is used to ensure the stability of the drilling rig during the drilling process.
