It is understood that on August 10, the consortium formed by China Nengjian International Group and China Nengjian Guangdong Institute signed the EPC general contract for 172 MW photovoltaic project in Olongapo, Philippines with ABOITIZ Group.
The project is located in Olongapo City, Zambales Province, Luzon, Philippines, 126 kilometers away from Manila, covering an area of 196 hectares. The project mainly includes the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of a ground photovoltaic plant with a total capacity of about 172 MW. After the completion of the project, it will be connected to Castillejos 500kV substation 16 kilometers away through 230kV transmission line.
It is reported that Philippine ABOITIZ Group is the second largest power developer in the Philippines and one of the leading enterprises in the Philippine power industry. The signing of the project will further deepen the strategic cooperation between China Nengjian and ABOITIZ Group of the Philippines.
