In November, the price of sand and gravel across the country was on the strong side, and the shipment volume showed an upward trend. At the end of November and the beginning of December, the construction progress was significantly better than that of the first three quarters, driving the demand to continue to pick up in the fourth quarter. Some markets experienced a tight supply of gravel. Affected by water level and weather, transportation costs increased, and quotations in some areas rose at the end of the month.
By the end of November, the National Gravel Price Index (CSPI) closed at 84.54 points, up 0.45% annually and down 6.09% year-on-year. The National Machine-made Sand Price Index (MSPI) closed at 88.96 points, up 0.82% annually and down 7.26% year-on-year.
