[Video] Insolvent, no one reorganizes! A cement enterprise in Inner Mongolia has gone bankrupt and the 4000t/d production line has been shut down.

2023, Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Xichuang Group Co., Ltd. applied to the court for bankruptcy liquidation of Wuhai Huayuan Cement Co., Ltd. on the grounds that the respondent Wuhai Huayuan Cement Co., Ltd. had been suffering serious losses and was unable to repay its debts due.

Wuhai Huayuan Cement Company has a 4000t/d production line, which was put into operation in August 2010. The production line was shut down in March this year.    According to

the Implementation Plan of Carbon Peak in Building Materials Industry, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of cement clinker will be reduced by more than 3% during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and key industries such as cement will be included in the national carbon emission trading market. It is urgent for cement enterprises to establish carbon emission management system and improve the ability of carbon asset management.

To this end, China Cement Network will hold the "2023 Cement'Double Carbon 'Conference and the 10th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference" in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, to help the cement industry move towards a lower carbon, more energy-saving and greener high-quality development.

After the meeting, we will also organize a visit to Jiyuan Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. "The world's first production line of carbon sequestration auxiliary cementitious materials and low-carbon cement from flue gas CO2 of steel slag capture cement kiln".
