Recently, Kezhou Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Kezhou Tianshan Cement"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinjiang Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "New Tianshan Cement"), contracted by Sinoma Energy Conservation, held a commencement ceremony for its waste heat power generation project in Xinjiang. Wang Yi, General Manager of Sinoma Energy Conservation Engineering Branch, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Li Jie, General Manager of New Tianshan Cement Safety and Environmental Protection Department, and Li Jianlin, Member of the Party Committee and Assistant President of Xinjiang Cement Company, attended the opening ceremony; Tilayimu Tulson Aili, Chairman of Kezhou CPPCC, He Luren, Member of the Party and Labor Committee and Director of China Merchants Bureau of Kunshan Industrial Park in Atushi City, Maimaiti Tohuti, Chairman of Atushi CPPCC, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the Bureau of Commerce and Industry, and Yang Xiaoping, Member and Deputy Director of the Party Group of Atushi Development and Reform Commission, were present to congratulate. In his speech,
Wang Yi said that Sinoma Energy Conservation will carry out "high standards and strict requirements" throughout the project construction, with the concept of "building first-class projects, creating first-class quality and building first-class brands", carefully organize and scientifically construct to ensure the smooth completion of the project on schedule with high quality, and strive to build the project into a benchmark project of cement waste heat power generation in Xinjiang. Wang Yi pointed out that Sinoma Energy Conservation and New Tianshan Cement have always maintained a good partnership, and the construction of Kezhou Tianshan Cement Waste Heat Power Generation Project will further promote mutual trust and consensus between Sinoma Energy Conservation and New Tianshan Cement. In the future, we hope that the two sides can carry out in-depth cooperation at a higher level and in a wider field, and jointly explore the bright future of green, low-carbon and sustainable development of the cement industry. The installed capacity
of Kezhou Tianshan Cement Waste Heat Power Generation Project is 10 MW, which adopts the latest generation of waste heat power generation technology independently developed by Sinoma Energy Conservation. After the completion of the project, the power station will generate 44.08 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and reduce carbon emissions by 3700 tons annually, which has good environmental, social and economic benefits. The undertaking of Kezhou Tianshan Cement Waste Heat Power Generation Project
by Sinoma Energy Conservation is not only another example of deepening cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation and New Tianshan Cement, but also a concrete measure taken by both sides to implement the Group's proposal on strengthening internal coordination and establishing an efficient coordination and cooperation mechanism. According to
the Implementation Plan of Carbon Peak in Building Materials Industry, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of cement clinker will be reduced by more than 3% during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and key industries such as cement will be included in the national carbon emission trading market. It is urgent for cement enterprises to establish carbon emission management system and improve the ability of carbon asset management.
To this end, China Cement Network will hold the "2023 Cement'Double Carbon 'Conference and the 10th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference" in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, to help the cement industry move towards a lower carbon, more energy-saving and greener high-quality development.
After the meeting, we will also organize a visit to Jiyuan Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. "The world's first production line of carbon sequestration auxiliary cementitious materials and low-carbon cement from flue gas CO2 of steel slag capture cement kiln".
