On August 3, the Development and Reform Commission of Zhalute Banner, Inner Mongolia, issued the Notice of Project Filing on the integration project of hydrogen, ammonia and alcohol production in Tongliao.
The project is located in Lubei Industrial Park, Zhalute Banner, Tongliao City. It is implemented by Vision Green Gas (Tongliao) Co., Ltd. The total investment of the project is 9.84 billion yuan. The planned construction period is from 2024/03 to 2028/08.
The project covers an area of about 609 mu and is constructed in three phases. The third phase of the project will build 300000 Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production plant, 600000 tons of green hydrogen synthetic ammonia plant, 300000 tons/year green methanol plant and 80000 Nm ³/H air separation plant.
In the first phase, a set of 100,000 Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production plant, a 300,000 t/a green hydrogen synthetic ammonia production plant and a 40,000 Nm ³/H air separation plant will be built. The project will build a new complex building, a warehouse, a central laboratory, a power transformation and distribution station, a public workshop, a water electrolysis plant, a synthetic ammonia storage tank, a green methanol storage tank, a flare facility and other supporting facilities. According to the investment layout of green hydrogen industry and the development of sales channels, the actual construction sequence of Phase II and Phase III will be adjusted.
