On August 8, the opening ceremony of the renewable energy hydrogen production project of Yumen Oilfield of PetroChina and the opening ceremony of Jiuquan New Energy Sub-Center of Jiuquan Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance and National Energy Measurement Center (Electric Power) of Gansu Province was held in Yumen Oilfield Hydropower Plant. Liu Zhanjun, Executive Director and Secretary of the Party Committee of Yumen Oilfield Company, presided over the ceremony. Wang Liqi, Secretary of the Jiuquan Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Xuan, Deputy Engineer of the National Energy Measurement Center (Electric Power), unveiled the two institutions.
Yumen Oilfield Renewable Energy Hydrogen Production Project is the first large-scale green hydrogen production demonstration project of PetroChina, and is the concrete action of Yumen Oilfield to speed up the construction of the main enterprises of the hydrogen energy industry chain in Gansu Province. The establishment of Jiuquan Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance can further coordinate the layout of hydrogen energy industry in the region, integrate and optimize resources, and promote the development of hydrogen energy industry by building, supplementing, extending and strengthening chains. Jiuquan Branch of National Energy Measurement Center (Electric Power) is a national industry energy measurement sub-center approved by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, which can provide important technical support for provinces and cities to better serve the national energy strategy, promote the construction of ecological civilization and green development.
