From January to June, the added value of industries above the scale of Ningxia increased by 7.2% year on year.
In terms of categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 18.4%, the manufacturing industry increased by 7.7%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water decreased by 5.8%. In terms of light and heavy industries, the added value of light industry increased by 16.2% and that of heavy industry increased by 6.6%.
From the perspective of economic type, the added value of state-owned enterprises increased by 2.9%, joint-stock enterprises by 6.8%, state-owned holding enterprises by 3.5%, non-public industrial enterprises by 10.1%, private enterprises by 8.3%, and large and medium-sized industrial enterprises by 10.6%.
In terms of major industries, the added value of the coal industry increased by 13.8% year on year. Petroleum and petrochemicals grew by 10.4%, metallurgy by 7.3%, non-ferrous metals by 13.5%, light industry by 13.8%, textiles by 70.4%, electronics by 45.2%, machinery by 9.5%, building materials by 1.2% , medicine by 3.6%, Chemical industry dropped by 4.6%, electricity by 6.9%, and other industries by 1.4%.
In terms of industry categories, the added value of coal mining and washing industry increased by 13.8%, ferrous metal mining and dressing industry by 66.2%, food manufacturing industry by 15.9%, agricultural and sideline food processing industry by 2.2%, textile industry by 8.9%, and oil, coal and other fuel processing industry by 12.6%. Non-metallic mineral products industry grew by 4.4%, non-ferrous metal smelting and calendering industry by 13.5%, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing by 45.2%, rubber and plastic products industry by 20.5%, general equipment manufacturing by 5.5%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing by 24.9%, and electronic equipment manufacturing by 24.3%. Chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry decreased by 4.8%, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry decreased by 3.5%, ferrous metal smelting and calendering industry decreased by 19.2%, special equipment manufacturing industry decreased by 1.8%, metal products industry decreased by 20.6%, and power, thermal production and supply industry decreased by 5.9%.
In terms of product output, dairy products increased by 25.3%, chemical pesticides by 46.7%, monocrystalline silicon by 148.0%, polycrystalline silicon by 53.6 times, chemical fibers by 113.0%, graphite and carbon products by 4.7%, and primary aluminium by 9.3%. Industrial automatic control instruments and control systems increased by 1.9%, raw chemicals increased by 6.7%, special mining equipment increased by 16.0%, cement increased by 1.8% , activated carbon decreased by 4.3%, power cables decreased by 50.0%, and caustic soda (100%) decreased by 16.0%. Sulfuric acid (100%) decreased by 10.2%, primary plastics decreased by 10.5%, calcium carbide (calcium carbide, 300 L/kg) decreased by 17.7%, refined methanol decreased by 0.6%, agricultural nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium chemical fertilizers (pure) decreased by 15.4%, ferroalloys decreased by 12.4%, and industrial robots decreased by 43.0%.
