It is reported that on February 27, 2023, Zhejiao Mining (Zhaoqing) Co., Ltd. won the construction granite mine in Songshuwo Mining Area, Xiaoxiang Town, Gaoyao District with 2.01 billion yuan. The reserve of the mine is over 400 million tons, and the designed annual production capacity is about 8 million square meters. It has been sold for 21 years. The ore is of good quality, adjacent to the Xijiang Golden Waterway, and has obvious transportation advantages.
Relevant person in charge said that the mine is not only the largest single project invested by Zhejiang Transportation Group in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area so far, but also the key project of the Group's "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic development, and the key step for Zhejiang Transportation Resources Group to Pearl River Delta distribution of resources along the Xijiang River.
