13, Zhuhai Hongjun Heterojunction New High Efficiency Solar Cell Project (hereinafter referred to as Hongjun Heterojunction Project) held a foundation-laying ceremony in Fushan Industrial City, Doumen District, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. It marks the official launch of a new high-end manufacturing base for high-efficiency heterojunction solar cells and components with a total investment of about 5.9 billion yuan and an annual output value of 10 billion yuan.
Under the joint witness of the relevant functional departments of the city and district, Zhuhai Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd. has signed investment agreements and project lease contracts with Fushan Management Committee and Gree Group respectively.
According to the agreement, Gree Group will invest in Hongjun Heterojunction Project, and be responsible for land purchase and plant customization development, so as to help the project put into operation as soon as possible.
It is understood that the Hongjun heterojunction project, which laid the foundation, has a total land area of about 300 mu, a total investment of about 5.9 billion yuan , a total construction area of about 300000 square meters, and a customized plant built by Gree Group with an investment of about 1.4 billion yuan.
The project is divided into three phases of investment and construction, and is expected to reach full production capacity by the end of 2025, when it will have an annual production capacity of 7.2G W batteries and 5G W modules . Zhuhai Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd., the main body
of Hongjun Heterojunction Project, is jointly invested and established by Zhuhai Fuhong Juneng (core team shareholding platform) and the top investment institutions in the United Nations-Chunhua Capital, Gree Gold Investment and Doumen District State-owned Assets.
The full name of Gree Gold Investment is Zhuhai Gree Financial Investment Management Co., Ltd., which was established on May 18, 2017 and is 100% owned by Zhuhai Gree Group Co., Ltd.
Relevant officials said that the follow-up projects will actively expand domestic and international application scenarios and high-quality customer groups to achieve higher sales profits with the help of Chunhua Capital and Gree Group's rich investment channels and global layout.
