This time, Tongwei Global Innovation R & D Center and industrialization of 25GW batteries and 20GW components projects were signed and launched, including industrialization of 25GW batteries and 20GW components projects, with fixed assets investment of 10.5 billion yuan; The hardware investment of the Global Innovation R & D Center is 1 billion yuan.
Among them, the cell project will build an annual production line of 25 GW cells, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2024. The component project plans to build a production line with an annual output of 20GW components, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025. The project of Tongwei Solar Energy Global Innovation R & D Center, which
has officially started construction, aims to bring together professional R & D teams to build a world-class photovoltaic innovation R & D center . After completion, it will focus on the research of N-type cells and materials, components, photovoltaic testing and analysis, and new technologies.
At present, Tongwei has formed 420,000 tons of high-purity silicon production capacity in the upstream of the industrial chain, with a global market share of 25%, ranking first in the world; in the midstream of the industrial chain, it has formed 90GW battery production capacity scale, with a global market share of 15%, ranking first in the world; In the downstream of the industrial chain, the photovoltaic module link is moderately laid out, and now there is 63GW photovoltaic module production capacity.
