global leader in clean energy integrated services, formally signed the integrated project of floating photovoltaic power generation to produce green hydrogen and hydrogen storage in Perak, Malaysia, which is a breakthrough in the field of photovoltaic and hydrogen energy and helps to promote the further development of the integration of the whole new energy industry chain.
On November 28, Sinohydro (Malaysia) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Electric Power Construction Corporation, and Shimale Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. of Malaysia formally signed the EPC general contract for the integrated project of floating photovoltaic power generation to produce green hydrogen and hydrogen storage in Perak, Malaysia. Before the
signing ceremony, the two sides held cordial talks and reached consensus on further integrating superior resources and achieving win-win cooperation. Ye Haoliang said that the planning and construction of the project will carry out secondary development and utilization of abandoned tin mining lakes, fully in line with the direction of "ecological priority, green development", which is of great significance for Malaysia to achieve green low-carbon transformation.
The project is located in Perak, Malaysia. The main work is the design, procurement and construction of floating photovoltaic, hydrogen production unit and hydrogen storage unit. After completion, it will become the first large-scale green hydrogen production project using floating photovoltaic power generation in Malaysia. The success of the project is another breakthrough made by PowerChina in the field of photovoltaic and hydrogen energy in the Malaysian national market, and an important achievement of the in-depth implementation of the high-quality "the Belt and Road" initiative, which fully reflects the leading edge of PowerChina in the integration of the whole new energy industry chain as a leading enterprise in the global clean energy integrated services.
