On November 29, China Building Materials Group and China Railway Co., Ltd. held a symposium on cooperation and exchange at China Railway Headquarters and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Zhou Yuxian, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Building Material Group, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Building Material Group, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Railway Engineering Group, and Chen Yun, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Railway Group, attended the symposium and witnessed the signing of the contract. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening strategic cooperation and promoting the implementation of cooperation projects. Zhou Yuxian thanked Chen Yun for his warm reception, affirmed the good cooperation between the two sides over the years, and thanked China Railway for its support to China Building Materials Group. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the development of China Building Materials Group and its reform and development. He pointed out that while deepening the supply cooperation in the field of basic building materials, the two sides could explore cooperation in the fields of construction engineering at home and abroad, application of new material scenarios, and investment in research and development of new materials. It is hoped that the two sides will take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to continuously consolidate and deepen the achievements of cooperation, promote the overall planning of resources and business coordination between the two sides, work together to build a world-class enterprise, and better serve and support the major national strategies.
Chen Yun welcomed Zhou Yuxian's visit and affirmed the extensive cooperation between the two sides in the fields of material supply, engineering projects and equity investment of related subsidiaries. He highly appraised the achievements of China Building Materials Group in industrial transformation and upgrading, state-owned capital investment, development and application of new materials, scientific and technological innovation, and reform of system and mechanism. He said that China Building Materials and China Railway have strong business relevance and complementarity, and have broad prospects for cooperation. He hoped that through the signing of cooperation agreements, they could give full play to their respective advantages, expand areas of cooperation, promote strategic cooperation and promote common development of both sides.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will establish a communication and coordination mechanism to promote comprehensive cooperation in strategic procurement, capital and equity, new material R & D and scenario application, green low-carbon, international operation, innovative R & D and other fields, and promote high-quality development of both sides.
