Shandong Province, 52 aftershocks have occurred in Pingyuan County, Dezhou City. After investigation, 74 houses collapsed and 10 people were injured. The epicenter of the
earthquake was located at 37.16 degrees north latitude and 116.34 degrees east longitude, 8 km from Pingyuan County, 25 km from Wucheng County, 36 km from Gaotang County, 31 km from Dezhou City and 82 km from Jinan City. Pingyuan County, located in the middle of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, has jurisdiction over 8 towns, 1 township and 3 streets, with a population of 420,000.
