It is understood that the standard will be implemented on June 1, 2024. Compared with GB175-2007, many standards have been improved. As the main raw material of structural buildings, the quality of

general Portland cement is related to the safety of buildings and personal and property safety, so the revision of the Standard is mandatory. Some important standards are cited in the Standard. Added GB 31893 Limit and Determination Method of Water Soluble Hexavalent Chromium (VI) in Cement, GB/T21371 Industrial By-product Gypsum Used in Cement, GB 6566 Limit of Radionuclide in Building Materials, GB/TXXX Limit and Test Method of Ammonium Ion Content in Fly Ash, GB/T 35164-2017 Limestone Powder for Cement, Mortar and Concrete, requirements for type inspection and inspection frequency, and judgment rules, etc., and the determination of cement components is changed to "according to GB/T 12960 Quantitative Determination of Cement Components".

In addition, the Standard also refines and adjusts the cement components, revises the standard requirements for cement mixing materials, and revises some technical indicators.
