On November 27, the second and third phase of Shangdu million kilowatt wind power base supporting energy storage project, the world's largest single-storey station-type energy storage power station independently developed by Huaneng, was connected to the grid with full capacity. So far, Shangdu million kilowatt wind power base supporting energy storage project 300 MW/600 MWh project has been completed, becoming the first large-scale energy storage power station connected to North China Power Grid.
Huaneng Shangdu Million Kilowatt Wind Power Base is one of the first large-scale new energy base projects in China. It is a base-based large-scale " wind, solar, fire and storage " comprehensive energy project, including 2 million kilowatts of wind power and 300000 kilowatts of energy storage power station. Among them, the energy storage power station is invested and developed by Huaneng North Company. R & D and construction of Huaneng Qingneng Institute.
The energy storage power station project is divided into three phases, each phase is 100 MW/200 MWh. Among them, the first phase of the project adopts three energy storage technology routes, namely, decentralized control, centralized control and high-voltage cascade direct hanging. In the second and third phase of the project, the station-type energy storage technology route is adopted, and the energy density of the energy storage system is greatly improved through the layout of the single-layer station-type energy storage system; the central heating pipe network heating technology is used to distribute the waste heat of the thermal power plant, and the efficient and energy-saving thermal management is effectively realized; the multi-level fire protection system with independent intellectual property rights of Huaneng is equipped for the first time, and the safe operation of the battery energy storage system is fully guaranteed. project, it can store up to 600000 degrees of electricity at a time, which can effectively promote the absorption of new energy, improve the peak shaving capacity of the power grid, enhance the flexibility of the power system, and ensure the safety and stability of the power grid of the "wind and fire storage" joint transmission system.
