2023, the rotary kiln of Pakistan Fauji Project contracted by Hefei Institute was successfully ignited at one time, marking that the project has achieved a phased victory and successfully entered the trial production stage. The project took only 13 months from foundation excavation to ignition, three months ahead of the contract period, once again demonstrating the "Chinese speed" in the field of cement EPC engineering in Pakistan.
Fauji Cement Project is located in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab Province, Pakistan. The project includes a complete 6500t/d clinker cement production line and 12MW waste heat power generation with a total capacity of 132 KV. It is the second EPC general contracting cement production line and supporting power station project cooperated by Hefei Institute and Fauji Group in Pakistan market.
Since the commencement of construction on October 25, 2022, with the care and support of leading departments at all levels of Building Materials Group, Sinoma International and Hefei Institute, Fauji Project Department has carefully planned and carefully managed to strictly control the safety, quality and progress of the project. From the design department, procurement and shipping department to the site construction, the project team worked day and night to overcome the difficulties of high temperature, sandstorm, unstable municipal power supply and so on. Especially after entering the commissioning stage, because the external high-voltage lines have not yet been completed, the project team carefully coordinated and successfully completed most of the equipment by using the limited capacity of diesel generators. Within 27 hours after the formal connection of municipal electricity, the whole line was successfully ignited. The project management ability and performance ability of Hefei Institute have won the high recognition of the owners.
At the same time, the project department actively promotes localized management, all civil engineering work and part of installation work are subcontracted locally, and the site management team also employs a large number of local engineers and technicians. While providing nearly 3000 jobs for the local people, it has also trained a number of outstanding technical and management personnel for Pakistan. Following the ASKARI project, Hefei Institute once again contributed "China's strength" to the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The successful ignition of the
rotary kiln has greatly inspired every employee of the project department. All members of the project department will make persistent efforts to devote themselves to the project construction with a higher sense of responsibility and more hard work, and continue to work hard to realize the full production of the cement grinding and packaging system.
