On April 11, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Anhui Province issued an announcement on the relocation of the cement clinker production line of Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd. with a daily output of 7500 tons.
Guangde Dushan Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Dushan Nanfang), Guangde Xinhang Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Xinhang Nanfang) and Anhui Guangde Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Guangde Nanfang) are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd.
Due to the construction of the sub-center of Guangde City and the industrial development of Xinhang Town, the existing plots in the south of Dushan and Xinhang will be built into Guangde Economic Development Zone. Southern Cement Co., Ltd. intends to eliminate two cement clinker production lines with a daily output of 2500 tons (kiln diameter of 4.0 m * 60m) located in Niutoushan Village, Xinhang Town, Dushan Southern, and one cement clinker production line with a daily output of 2500 tons (kiln diameter of 4.0 m * 60m) located in Jianchuan Village, Xinhang Town, Xinhang Southern. With Guangde Nanfang as the main body of construction, a cement clinker production line with a daily output of 7500 tons (kiln diameter of 5.5m * 84 m) will be relocated in Qingling Village, Xinhang Town.
According to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission on Serious Capacity Replacement and Strict Prohibition of New Capacity in Cement Flat Glass Industry (Lianyuan [2018] No.57), According to the requirements of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, No.80, 2021), the website of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology announced the relocation plan of the 7500 tons per day cement clinker production line project of Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd. from March 27 to April 7, 2023. The scheme is now announced.
