The Regulations, as the first regional coordinated legislation in the field of transportation in Anhui Province, strictly implement the legal requirements such as the Yangtze River Protection Law, and base the local legislation in Jiangsu and Shanghai on the actual work in Anhui Province. Focus on key areas such as prevention and control of water pollution from ships in the Yangtze River, prevention and control of air pollution, prevention and control of pollution from related operations, emergency disposal of accidents and regional cooperation, and refine, improve and standardize them, so as to provide local legislative basis for promoting joint prevention and control of pollution from ships in the Yangtze River Delta region.
