Recently, Gansu Economic Research Institute released the price changes of major commodities in Gansu Province in July 2023. The article shows that in July, the price of sand in Gansu Province rose on a month-on-month basis, while the price of coal was stable; compared with the same period last year, the price of coal and cement fell, while the price of sand and stone rose.
In July, the average ex-factory price (car plate price) of steam coal (mixed coal 5000 kcal) and lump coal (medium lump 5000 kcal) in Gansu Province was 696 yuan and 1107 yuan per ton respectively, which were flat on a month-on-month basis and decreased by 12.45% and 7.13% respectively on a year-on-year basis.
In July, the average ex-factory price of cement in Gansu Province was 355 yuan per ton, down 4.05% annually and 24.15% year-on-year.
In July, the average ex-factory price of sand and gravel in Gansu Province was 80.89 yuan per ton for machine-made sand (fine sand) and 64.18 yuan per ton for river sand (fine sand), with a month-on-month increase of 4.29% and 2.61% respectively, and a year-on-year increase of 4.75% for machine-made sand and 0.85% for river sand.
