Recently, the EDO3 project in Nigeria successfully completed the hoisting of two cement mills with the largest size made in China. The two cement mills are completely independently designed by the company, with a size of φ5.2m X 19.25m and a single weight of 203T, which are the largest tube mills in China at present. The successful installation of cement mill cylinder marks that the installation of EDO3 project has entered a new stage.
EDO3 Project attaches great importance to the special construction of cement mill. Since the project planning stage, it has continuously optimized the special schemes for large item delivery, large item transportation and large item hoisting, carefully planned and fully prepared, and finally completed the established objectives safely and efficiently. At the same time, under the overall coordination of the regional company, the regional superior resources are integrated, the core problems are tackled in coordination, and the crawler crane drivers, team leaders and lifting workers with higher technical level in the region are selected to work together to ensure the smooth progress of the whole hoisting process and the safe, orderly and stable implementation of the established plan.
The EDO3 project actively explores localized construction. At present, localized construction covers all professional sub-items including temporary construction, and constantly improves the territorial construction system and accumulates relevant resources. Localized construction has played an active role in the cost and schedule control of the EDO3 project. The EDO3 project will systematically summarize the localization experience in the early stage, strengthen the localization organization system, improve the localization subcontracting mode, and consolidate the localization construction resources, so as to give full play to the localization advantages more efficiently in the later stage of the project and in the additional projects.
