of August 2, the opening ceremony of Atlas Photovoltaic New Energy Industry Chain Project was held in Shaerqin Industrial Zone, Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone, Inner Mongolia. Municipal Party Secretary Baogang and Mayor He Haidong attended the ceremony.
On July 17, Atlas announced that it planned to invest in the construction of a photovoltaic new energy industry chain project in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total investment of about 18 billion yuan in the first phase of the project. The overall planning of the project is divided into three phases, of which the first phase of the project is the annual output of 30GW monocrystal rod drawing project, 80GW crucible project, 10GW monocrystal slicing project, 10GW solar cell project, 5G W photovoltaic module project and 5G W related supporting products project;
The second phase is the annual output of 25 GW monocrystalline rod pulling project, 5G W monocrystalline slicing project, 5G W solar cell project, 5G W photovoltaic module project and 5G W related supporting product project;
The third phase is an annual output of 25 GW monocrystalline rod drawing project, 5G W monocrystalline slicing project, 5G W solar cell project, 120,000 tons of industrial silicon project and 100,000 tons of polysilicon project.
It is understood that the first phase of the project will be put into operation in April next year, and all of them will reach production within the year. After the completion of the third phase of the project, the annual output value is expected to be about 102 billion yuan, and about 18000 people will be employed.
This project is the manufacturing base with the largest single investment and the highest degree of integration in the world. It is also the largest, most complete and most advanced industrial project introduced and implemented by Hohhot in the field of new materials in recent years.
